Canyons District has adopted a math program called Envision. This program correlates with the new national math standards that Utah has recently adopted, and I really love working with it because it is challenging for all students. The textbook and supplementary materials are available online for students and their parents to access at home, so please take advantage of this learning opportunity.

I have found that those students who have mastered their math facts early find math much more enjoyable, so I would suggest that parents really help their children review these very important skills. We will have daily timed math fact quizzes as part of our math routine.
